Fikszo exclusively uses FSC certified wood (certified by the Forest Stewardship Council) Whenever this FSC wood is available and the circumstances allow the use of it. This certification stands for wood coming from forests where it is growing in an ecologically justified way. 

FSC wood is available in a variety of types of wood, e.g. tropical hardwood and pine. Fikszo is FSC certified since 1996 and member of the “Good Wood” foundation and has the aspiration to extend the use of certified wood every year significantly.
