The origin of Fikszo B.V. lies in wood ware factory J. van Zoest. This venture was established in 1931 at Lekkerkerk. The venture then produced wooden dowels and simple turnery activities were performed. In the sixties the venture decided to develop activities in the direction of an increasing DIY-market. Under the name Fikszo B.V. a trade organisation was established which acquired a respected position within the DIY-market as a producer and supplier of products for the branch. The activities have been extended internationally in due course. This has resulted in own production and sales facilities in Belgium, Poland and Germany. From the head office at Lekkerkerk the total organisation is managed, where at present 200 employees are active.
